Old 1920 Library of Health Medical Book 20 books 1 vol - w/Color Plate Overlays

Approx. 10" x 8" x 4 1/8" thick, this huge medical book has a copyright date of 1916 and this is the 1920 edition. It weighs 10 pounds unboxed. It is in very good condition with only a couple small edge tears to a couple of pages. No creases, bends or stains. Beautiful illustrations including 3 charts that have multiple overlays where you can peel up the layers of the diagram. These are dated 1916. There are photo illustrations from exercise to self defense along with health care and illness diagrams. Beautiful paisley fore edge and tail. Some light wear to the very edges of the hardback cover. And the binding is loose from the book but not torn. I am wondering if this is how it was made. A great historical piece of medical history. Good luck!
