Up for sale is an authentic Gold Sales Award to commemorate over 500,000 copies sold of the Bill Withers 1977 classic R&B album "Menagerie". This album featured the hit "Lovely Day". This is an authentic Recording Industry Association of America sales award, and features the RIAA logo. It was presented to Bill Withers' manager Freddy DeMann.
This original award is a fantastic piece and measures approx 17" x 21". It is in very good condition, with some light scratches to the frame and a little paint loss. The miniature album cover has faded a bit. It would make a great gift! If you miss out on buying this, good luck finding another!
